Falls are caused by several risk factors. Some of these factors are modifiable and some are non-modifiable. Fall risk factors are classified into two main categories:
Intrinsic Fall Risk Factors: These factors are related to human body and originate from within the individual.
Extrinsic Fall Risk Factors: These factors are external to the human body and originate outside the individual.
Intrinsic Fall Risk Factors: These factors are related to human body and originate from within the individual.
